Relaxation & Stress Management

Soothing, relaxing, long, flushing strokes  on the superficial layers of muscle that will leave you feeling calm and peaceful.  It relaxes the body and mind while increasing circulation, and lymphatic flow to boost the immune system.

Transformational Neuromuscular Therapy

Based on your body posture, previous or current injuries, activity level, and pain neuromuscular therapy can target your body's needs and leave you walking out with a restored muscular system. A form of deep tissue which specific pressure and friction are used to release areas of strain in a muscle. The goal of this modality is to "clear" a muscle and return it to its ideal condition. Which eliminates, spasm, toxicity, adhesions, edema (inflammation), and pain. And restores tone, balance, proprioception, coordination, organization, and blood flow within the muscle itself.

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue is similar to a Swedish massage, but deeper pressure is applied to aid in the benefits of releasing Chronic muscle tension. the focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia ( the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones, and joints).

Sports Massage

Sports Massage is designed to enhance athletic performance and recovery. There are three contexts in which sports massage can be useful Pre-event, post-event, and sports maintenance.

Internal Organ Massage

Internal organs have involuntary muscle a.k.a smooth muscle and can hold tension just like skeletal muscles. Muscular organs include: small intestine, large intestine, stomach, bladder, gall bladder, heart, spleen, and uterus. tension in the viscera (internal organs) can cause abdominal pain, back pain, hip/leg pain, & migraines. Trigger points can form in the tense muscle fibers, creating tensions and or referred pain in any other part of the body. Non-muscular organs such as; kidney's, liver, lungs, pancreas & adrenals can become hardened and therefore decrease blood flow. Internal organ massage frees the organs from constrictions, remobilizes them, stimulates them, and allows them to find their natural way to balance. Our organs are intimately connected to each other and other systems of the body. They are constantly sharing communications and information throughout the body/mind.

Manual Lymph Drainage

Manual Lymph Drainage is technique for facilitation of stagnant lymph fluid. This could happen as a result of surgery, injury, and/or congenital defects. This technique is very gentle and it cleanses the connective tissue of inflammatory materials and toxins, enhances the activity of the immune system, and reduces the risk of infection, disfigurement and disability in the body's tissue.

Pre/Post Natal

Massage either during pregnancy or postpartum is a wonderful complimentary choice for stress reduction and overall wellness. Pre-natal massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema ( or swelling). It also aims to reduce stress on weight bearing joints, encourages blood and lymph circulation, balance out hormones, and helps to relax nervous tension, which can bring about better quality sleep. Goals of the postpartum are just as important. Here we aim to regulate hormones, reduce swelling, promote better quality sleep, speeds healing and helps restore body to the pre-pregnancy conditions. Integration of maternal bodywork may add value in your healing journey and transition into motherhood.
